- The tetrahedron has four triangular faces and is sometimes called a 'triangular pyramid'.

- A tetrahedron is made up of 4 equilateral triangles.

- Tetrahedrons have 4 faces, 4 vertices and 6 edges.

- The triangular faces of a tetrahedron 'taper' to a point which is refered to as the apex.

- Do tetrahedrons only have one apex?

Construction Hints

- score the tetrahedron net along ALL fold lines before attempting to assemble
- use a ruler to aid scoring
- use sticky tape on the tabs to assemble this shape rather than glue. It is much easier.
